Natacha Lopes Baptista

Natacha Lopes Baptista has a degree in History from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2021). In the same year, she started her master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at the same educational institution.  She has worked as an intern and research assistant in historical and family archives, and research projects related to the creation of databases and the publication of sources from modern and contemporary times. She worked as an intern at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2022, performing various functions related to Portugal’s relations with Sub-Saharan African countries, in the areas of politics, economics and culture.

Her main interests at the moment are the study of Portuguese relations with African countries, cultural identities and heritage.
