On November 21st 2023 took place the Nova Science & Innovation Day event, which is an annual event dedicated to the celebration of the research conducted at the NOVA University. The 2023 edition featured the presence of the winners of the Research Impact Narratives challenge, which included Professor Maria de Lurdes Rosa, regarding the research that includes VINCULUM project.

The narrative presented by the researcher, entitled “Recovered voices, newfound questions: erasing archival silences, building a plural History” showcases the progress that the project has been achieving in the study, recovery, and dissemination of family archives through articles, exhibitions, courses, conferences, and even a school challenge. Thus, the program has not only accomplished a national impact, promoting ties between communities and their local history and patrimony, but also an international impact through the export of scientific content and the collaboration with institutions abroad, which has been reflected in the scientific funding received.

The pioneering work undertaken by the project has allowed for the exploration of research hypotheses and new perspectives on the past, factors that led to its recognition by the referred initiative.
